AP6: New Music in Progress

Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at what I’ve been working on lately. The track you’re hearing is just a mockup for now — those aren’t real strings yet, but a full string orchestra will be recorded for the final version. I hope to post video of that recording session here.

For this release, I’m trying something new: instead of waiting for the full album, I’ll be putting out one song at a time as they’re finished. That means more music, sooner.

🎙️ New Podcast Coming Soon
My wife Brie and I have started recording a podcast about the creative process. We’ve got four episodes recorded so far — no release date just yet, but I’ll keep you posted.

📈 Mysterious Streaming Spike
On May 21st, there was a massive spike in streams and followers on both Spotify and Apple Music. I have no idea what caused it — maybe The Remedy was added to a playlist or featured somewhere? The data wasn’t clear, but Apple Music streams nearly doubled overnight. If you happened to hear it somewhere, let me know!

Huge thanks to Austin Phillips for letting me know that my Fender Jazzmaster is actually a '73, not a '76 like I mentioned in the last newsletter. We’d chatted over Zoom last year about guitars, and he kindly looked it up for me.
